Danny Wooten serves as director of student leadership development at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø. In this role, he provides leadership for student engagement programs, campus activities, student organizations and leadership development initiatives. He is committed to creating opportunities that help students build meaningful connections, develop practical leadership skills and experience a strong sense of belonging on campus.

Wooten brings more than a decade of experience in student affairs, campus programming and student center operations. Before joining Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø in 2025, he served as director of student activities and involvement at Pfeiffer University. He previously held student engagement and campus life positions at Fayetteville State University and North Carolina A&T State University, where his responsibilities included advising student organizations, coordinating major campus programs, managing student activity budgets and supervising student employees.

His professional interests include student leadership development, campus programming, event management, student organization advising and the assessment of student engagement. Wooten believes involvement outside the classroom allows students to strengthen skills in communication, collaboration, project management and leadership that support their personal and professional development. He also has experience developing programs that connect student involvement with academic success, service and holistic student growth.
